Ritchie Vineyard

The “iconic” Ritchie Vineyard is known as one of the best Chardonnay vineyards in California that produces “Grand Cru” quality wines. Planed in 1972, by the famed Kent Ritchie, this rolling hillside vineyard is located one-mile south of our Estate, Vineyard eleven, in the southern end of the Middle Reach Neighborhood at Eastside and Trenton-Healdsburg roads. The Vineyard benefits from thick morning fog from the Russian River and warm afternoon sun that produces low yielding, small highly concentrated berries that creates wine with focus, intensity, complexity, and freshness acidity.
