Starr Ridge Vineyard

Starr Ridge Vineyard planted in 1996 by Gary Farrell is located in the Middle Reach of the Russian River Valley is 1 mile north of our estate ranch on Starr Road in the Town of Windsor. This eastern facing hillside ridge is the warmest vineyard we work with and benefits from the cooling fog of the Petaluma Gap and Russian River complimented by warm afternoon sun exposure. With soil of volcanic rock and clays rich in iron we have hand selected the fruit that best portrays the benefits of the unique micro-climate of this sub appellation.

The vineyard is managed and farmed by Ulises Valdez, one of the most respected vineyard managers in Sonoma County.
